Snowflake Reports Fourth Quarter and Full-Year Fiscal 2025 Financial Results

Snowflake (NYSE: SNOW), the AI Data Cloud company, has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full-year fiscal 2025, which ended on January 31, 2025.

Revenue for the fourth quarter reached $986.8 million, reflecting 27% year-over-year growth. Product revenue accounted for $943.3 million, a 28% increase compared to the previous year. Snowflake’s net revenue retention rate stood at 126%, and the company now has 580 customers generating over $1 million in trailing 12-month product revenue, marking a 27% increase year-over-year. Additionally, 745 Forbes Global 2000 companies are now Snowflake customers, a 5% increase from the prior year. The company’s remaining performance obligations (RPO) totaled $6.9 billion, up 33% year-over-year.

CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy commented on the results:
“We delivered another strong quarter, with product revenue reaching $943 million, up 28% year-over-year, and remaining performance obligations totaling $6.9 billion. Today, Snowflake is the most consequential data and AI company in the world. More than 11,000 customers are already betting their business on our easy-to-use, efficient, and trusted platform. We see tremendous opportunities ahead to support our customers throughout their end-to-end data lifecycle, and we are laser-focused on delivering on this vision.”

Non-GAAP Product Gross Profit: $715.3 million (76% margin)
GAAP Operating Loss: ($386.7) million (-39% margin)
Non-GAAP Operating Income: $92.8 million (9% margin)
Net Cash from Operating Activities: $432.7 million (44% margin)
Free Cash Flow: $415.4 million (42% margin)

Full-Year Fiscal 2025 Financial Highlights
Product Revenue: $3.46 billion (30% year-over-year growth)
GAAP Product Gross Profit: $2.47 billion (71% margin)
Non-GAAP Product Gross Profit: $2.64 billion (76% margin)
GAAP Operating Loss: ($1.46 billion) (-40% margin)
Non-GAAP Operating Income: $231.7 million (6% margin)
Net Cash from Operating Activities: $959.8 million (26% margin)
Free Cash Flow: $884.1 million (24% margin)

Fiscal 2026 Outlook
For the first quarter of fiscal 2026, Snowflake expects:

Product revenue between $955 million and $960 million, reflecting 21-22% year-over-year growth
Non-GAAP Operating Margin of 5%
For the full-year fiscal 2026, the company projects:

Product revenue of $4.28 billion, reflecting 24% year-over-year growth
Non-GAAP Product Gross Profit Margin of 75%
Non-GAAP Operating Margin of 8%
Adjusted Free Cash Flow Margin of 25%
